Is it really free?
Yes. The trial costs nothing and ends after a month unless you choose to subscribe (currently $99/month).
The link only shows "Download Tesla App". What now?
That happens on a computer or when the app isn't installed. Open the link on your phone with the Tesla app installed and up to date. If it still opens in the browser, touch and hold the link and tap "Open in Tesla".
I just bought a new Tesla. Can I use it?
If your new car came with its own FSD trial, Tesla makes you wait 12 months after that trial ends before you can use a referral.
I don't own a Tesla yet. Is there anything for me?
Yes: $400 off Tesla Solar for first-time customers, or a free demo drive.
What do you get out of it?
I'm a Tesla owner in New Jersey. If you subscribe to FSD after your trial, Tesla gives me a free month of FSD. If you don't, the trial is still yours to enjoy.
