Who qualifies for the FSD trial?
Tesla owners who haven't paid for an FSD subscription in the last 12 months, have never bought FSD outright, have FSD-compatible hardware, and haven't had a new-car FSD trial in the last 12 months.
Does the FSD trial cost anything?
No. It ends after a month unless you choose to subscribe (currently $99/month).
What does the person who referred me get?
If you subscribe during your trial, Tesla gives the referrer a free month of FSD (or a $99 credit if they bought FSD), up to 12 times a year.

Can I add a referral after I've ordered?
No. Tesla's terms say referral links can't be applied after an order is placed.
Is there still a federal tax credit for solar?
Not for homeowners buying a system. The 30% federal credit (Section 25D) ended after December 31, 2025. State and utility incentives vary.

Is the referral program still active?
Yes. As of October 29, 2026, Tesla runs the FSD referral for owners and the solar referral for new customers. Tesla changes the program often, so this site is updated when it does.
